180 Degrees Consulting offered me a perfect combination: I was able to have a positive impact by supporting great organizations while gaining experience in consulting. At the same time, I also met an extremely diverse and interdisciplinary community of people with the same goals. This is what makes my time with 180 DC so valuable!

Getting to know various inspiring personalities, sharing innovative thoughts and shaping exciting ideas in a vibrant, multicultural community at 180DC Hamburg has been a great pleasure! I especially enjoyed the possibility to be creative, the enthusiastic community and the high degree of internationality. I am sure that those three cycles shaped my personality further and gave me the opportunity to get in-depth insights into social impact consulting and develop authentic leadership skills.

180 DC Hamburg made me learn that how hard small sustainable organizations (our clients) are working to make a difference in the society. That was very inspiring for me. Along with this, working with people from different educational background always provided a good opportunity to learn and getting to know people from different nationality is always fun.

Through this journey with 180DC Hamburg, I have learnt several things as to how to work in different teams and simultaneously how to better communicate with people both internally and externally. I think it’s a great opportunity to get to know new people but also learn new things about yourself. Moreover, for my professional life it was very useful to get some hands-on experience and work together with different people from all over the world. I had a lot of fun!

Two words: Fun and hard work, this was my experience in 180DC consulting. I am part of the organization for more than a year and a half and there was not a single time I regret joining it. It allowed me to meet a lot of amazing and inspiring people, I am able to introduce and put into practice my ideas in the organization and I work on projects that for me make sense and have an impact on what I find important in life. For people who are wondering if you should join: DO. We do not bite and if you are into sustainability and social impact while gaining some working experience then we might just be what you are looking for!

What Is Social Impact Consulting?

Social Impact Consulting vs. Traditional Management Consulting? First question you may ask when you come across the term social impact consulting is that how it differs from the traditional management consulting. While traditional management consulting focuses on improving the performance of organizations often following the “best practices” in the industry, social impact consulting takes a broader approach and focuses on creating social improvements for several stakeholders involved in the organization. In other words, social impact

Gexsi – The Search Engine For a Better World

There is no doubt that search engines play an important part in our everyday life and it is hard to imagine a life without them. The most popular search engines are Google, Bing and Yahoo. Introducing Our Partner: Schlange & Co.

You may have come across the terms sustainability and corporate social responsibility (CSR) before, but when talking about consulting, you may think of some more traditional areas of consulting, such as management consulting, strategic consulting or engineering consulting. However, phenomena like global warming and some tragic catastrophic events (e.g. clothing factory collapses in Bangladesh) involving multinational corporations have gradually made companies more aware of their social, economic and environmental responsibilities on all stakeholders and the
